Student captures granddad's adorable reaction when she visits him in viral video

A student from Scotland has gone viral thanks to her adorable granddad.

Every time Jennifer Barclay knocked on grandfather Robert's door to pay him a visit, she filmed him opening the door and greeting her in a number of touching ways.

The one-minute clip of the 87-year-old's joy when his granddaughter visited captured the hearts of people all over the world, amassing over five million views and hundreds of comments in just two days.

Robert is filmed opening the door 17 different times in his house in the coastal town of Methil, always smiling away and constantly amusing viewers with his funny one-liners.

Her caption read: "My wee Grandad, 87 years young and he's my number one guy.

"I love him with all my heart. And I love recording his reactions when I come to visit. I hope everyone can appreciate the video I've made as much as I do".
