Lok sabha election 2019: tejashwi yadav takes a break to feast on panipuri during the campaign trail

Lalu Prasad Yadav's younger son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's political career has been eventful through the last few weeks after his elder brother Tej Pratap Singh decided to quit as the RJD student wing's chief. Tejashwi, on the other hand, remains in the limelight on both state and national levels and has been actively campaigning ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. A politician's days before the election usually mean they traverse through cities, sometimes even through states. One such day, the young leader was in the mood to grab a bite.

He stopped at a roadside panipuri vendor for a break, and the man serving him was visibly excited. The Twitter handle of Rashtriya Janata Dal later shared pictures of Tejashwi sitting and bonding with the vendor. That is probably the politician's way of mingling with a layman. The pictures also suggest they had a candid conversation. Not the first time that a politician is adopting all means to become a part of the Aam Aadmi, though.

Actor Urmila Matondkar, who recently joined Congress, was seen enjoying a hearty mouthful of Mumbai's most popular snack Vada Pav. She was surrounded by a group of fellow party workers, all of whom were probably in a mood to treat themselves.

This doesn't go smooth always, though. There was this one time Congress leaders were gathering at Delhi's Raj Ghat for a day-long fast, protesting various atrocities against Dalits. Before the gathering began, they were spotted at a local restaurant, digging deep into Chole Bhature. Leaders Ajay Maken, Haroon Yusuf, and Arvinder Singh Lovely were present there. BJP leader Harish Khurana shared the photos on Twitter, slamming Congress.

If only the 'mingling' continued for the rest of the year!
