A massage therapist who accused Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey of sexual assault has passed away.
According to media reports, the man, who was allowed to remain anonymous, had filed a lawsuit against the actor in September 2018. He had claimed that Spacey forced him to touch the latter's private parts and attempted to kiss him during a massage session at a private residence in Malibu.
The accuser had said he was hired as a massage therapist and taken to Spacey's private Malibu residence. According to the law suit, the man said he was led into a room and alleged that the actor locked the door behind them. At this point, Spacey claimed that he had been 'experiencing some pain in his groin area', laid down on the table facing up, and forced the masseur to touch his genitals. The accuser said that he was forced to rub the actor's private parts twice during the session. He added that Spacey's actions made him jump back in shock and alleged that the actor tried to kiss him, and was offered oral sex by Spacey.
The judge had allowed the case despite the actor's objection that the identity of the plaintiff was not being revealed.
On Tuesday, the attorneys of the actor filed a notice in court saying that the attorney's of the plaintiff informed them on September 11 that their client had passed away recently.
Media reports reveal that no further information regarding the death was offered by the plaintiff's attorney.
Another accusation, in which the actor was accused of groping a boy in 2016 resulting in a criminal suit and a civil charge, too was dropped recently.
